Sassan Masserat grew up in Italy, where he received the finest classical education. Upon completing his high school studies in Italy, he achieved his second diploma in Los Angeles, where he graduated with multiple honors from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Business Administration, Finance.

From 2000 until 2005 Mr. Masserat served as compliance officer and principal of a boutique investment bank/broker dealer in Santa Monica, specializing in private placements involving securitized real estate and energy investment products. Aside from day-to-day compliance and regulatory duties, he represented the company in all its audits and other matters with the Securities and Exchange Commission, NASD Regulation, the California Department of Corporations, and other state and federal regulatory agencies. While working full-time he graduated with honors from Southwestern University School of Law – the only member of his class to graduate in two and half years from the three-year full-time program. Upon becoming a member of the California Bar in 2004, he was promoted to in-house counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

In 2005 Mr. Masserat was sought out and hired by a large national law firm to work on a number of international complex securities litigation matters involving an Italian conglomerate seeking $30 billion in damages from multinational defendants. Through extensive interaction with individuals across the globe, and broad exposure to a variety of legal issues ranging from domestic to international law, Mr. Masserat had the privilege of working with highly skilled and sophisticated professionals, and was fortunate to gather valuable experience as a young attorney.

With a rich background and multi-faceted professional experience, Mr. Masserat brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the DiJulio Law Group, where he focuses on civil and business litigation and transactional matters, including immigration law. Armed with an impressive set of linguistic skills (Italian, French, Farsi and naturally English) Mr. Masserat is the firm's main liaison with Europe, the Middle East and South America.
